What the service does
The Workplace Referral Service connects people affected by cancer with HR and/or recruitment professionals for advice and support to manage cancer-related work issues. The service is for patients, carers, bereaved carers and survivors experiencing issues at work or returning to work whilst receiving treatment or caring for someone with cancer. HR support includes guidance on sharing a cancer diagnosis at work, managing symptoms and employer expectations and understanding employment rights such as flexible arrangements and leave entitlements. The service can help with recruitment support, including returning to work and job seeking, reviewing a CV and interview skills.
