Finding information can be confusing and overwhelming. You don't have to do it alone. Cancer Connect can help you find information and support you can trust.

Thousands of people from communities across Australia use Cancer Connect each year. You can speak with one of our qualified professionals who can help you find the support that feels comfortable for you, including in your preferred language. 

Using the Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS National)

You can talk to Cancer Connect in your language through an interpreter. To use a free interpreter:

  1. call TIS National on 131 450
  2. say which language you need
  3. TIS National will try to connect you with an interpreter right away
  4. tell the interpreter you want to talk to Cancer Council on 13 11 20
  5. TIS National will connect you and the interpreter with Cancer Council's Cancer Connect service

 

If TIS National can't find an interpreter right away, they will ask to call you back.
