What the service does

The Workplace Referral Service connects people affected by cancer, including carers, with work advice specialists for advice about work. This service can help before, during and after cancer treatment. Support may include talking about sharing a cancer diagnosis at work and asking for flexible work options. The service can also help with managing work expectations and returning to work. This includes help with looking for work and reviewing a CV. The service is for people who are having money difficulties and cannot afford the cost of advice. The service will assess eligibility. This support is available in New South Wales, the Northern Territory, Tasmania and the Australian Capital Territory.
