Peer Connect

Cancer Council Victoria

Emotional support Talking with others who have had cancer

What the service does

Cancer Council's Peer Connect program matches people with trained volunteers who have had a similar cancer experience. Matching is based on cancer type, treatment, age and family situation. Volunteers provide free and confidential support. Support is available for people with cancer, people at high genetic risk due to family history, carers and family members. People thinking about joining a clinical trial can also use this service. Support is available at any stage of cancer. This service is available across Australia.
