What the service does
The Financial Planning Referral Service connects people affected by cancer with volunteer financial advisers for free financial advice. It is available to carers as well. This service can help with superannuation, insurance, Centrelink, managing assets and debts and planning for retirement and estates. The service is for people who are having money difficulties and cannot afford the cost of advice. The service will assess eligibility. This support is available for people living in New South Wales, South Australia, the Northern Territory, Tasmania and the Australian Capital Territory.
