What the service does

The Financial Assistance Service supports people with cancer and their carers. The service provides short‑term financial help of up to $350. This support can help with everyday costs such as food, fuel, utility bills or community transport. The service is available only to people who meet certain criteria and are in acute financial hardship. Assistance may be given as vouchers or by paying expenses directly. Help is available in all areas of New South Wales. A referral to the Financial Navigation Service is needed first.
