What the service does

The Financial Planning Referral Service connects people affected by cancer with volunteer financial advisers for free financial advice. It is available to carers as well. Through the service, financial advisers can provide advice around accessing superannuation, insurances and Centrelink, debt management as well as retirement and estate planning. The service is for people who cannot afford the cost of professional advice. The service will assess eligibility. The service could be available for bereaved carers or survivors if the financial issue is connected to their cancer.
