What the service does

Cancer Council Liaisons work with healthcare professionals in hospitals across New South Wales to support people with cancer and their families at any stage of cancer. Liaisons provide information, short‑term emotional support and connect people with relevant support services. Support is provided on site at selected hospitals and cancer centres, including Albury‑Wodonga, Gosford, Wyong, Prince of Wales, Royal North Shore, Tamworth, Concord, Liverpool, Bankstown, Macarthur, Fairfield, Dubbo, Westmead and Blacktown. Support is available in Cantonese, Arabic and Vietnamese for people receiving care at cancer centres in South Western Sydney.
