What the service does

Accommodation (Hardship) Service helps people with cancer who need to travel long distances for treatment and are experiencing financial hardship by helping with accommodation costs. Support may also be provided for a family member or carer. The service does not cover accommodation for medical appointments. The service pays up to $150 per night for up to 42 nights. People may need to pay extra room costs and other charges, such as parking or room service. Support is for people from regional and remote areas of New South Wales.
