What the organisation does

Cancer Council SA helps reduce the impact of cancer for people in South Australia. It supports people with cancer, their families and carers. The organisation provides information about cancer, treatment options and ways to cope. People can access emotional support, including cancer counselling and connecting with others who have had similar experiences. Practical help is also available. This includes financial support, breast prostheses, a place to stay in Adelaide for people from regional areas and help to use the health system. Most services are free. Some services are only for people who meet specific criteria.
