What the organisation does
Cancer Council Victoria supports people affected by cancer, including carers, friends and family. Support is available through the Information and Support Line. The team can explain what cancer is and what to expect during treatment. They also share tips for managing common side effects and talk through treatment options. Other services include cancer counselling, financial counselling and connection with others who have similar cancer experiences. This service is available across Victoria, no matter where people live.
