What the service does
Women’s Legal Centre ACT helps women, trans and gender diverse people get free legal help. The service can help with legal problems such as family law, family violence, child protection, discrimination, sexual harassment and victims of crime matters. The service can also provide legal information, advice and, in some cases, legal representation. People can also be referred to other useful services. Interpreters can be arranged for people who prefer to speak a language other than English. Support is available in the Australian Capital Territory and surrounding areas. Support may only be available for people who meet specific criteria.
