What the service does

Launceston Community Legal Centre's Welfare Rights Advocate helps people who have a problem with Centrelink. The service gives free legal help about social security payments and rights relating to government payments and support. This includes information, advice and representation, which means speaking on a person’s behalf if needed. The service can help with Centrelink decisions, appeals (asking for a decision to be reviewed) and other Centrelink issues. The service is for people who live in northern Tasmania. It may only be available for people who meet specific criteria.
