Australian Red Cross Transport helps people get to medical appointments, shopping and social activities in South Australia, Tasmania, and Victoria. People can use the service if they cannot drive or do not have safe transport. The service is for people who meet certain criteria, such as older people or those with a disability. In South Australia and Tasmania, people may need to be registered for My Aged Care or have a referral from Tasmanian Community Care Referral Service. In Victoria, the service is only for hospital and medical appointments, and a referral from a doctor or specialist is required.
