What the service does
Transport to Treatment supports people with cancer who can’t use Community Transport Services or have difficulties getting to treatment. Trained volunteer drivers take people to treatment appointments in Cancer Council NSW vehicles. This service is available in regional, rural and remote New South Wales. A referral from a health professional is required, and the service will assess eligibility. To use this service, people must be able to move independently and get in and out of the vehicle on their own (or travel with a carer if needed), have no other transport options, and live in an area the service covers.

Accessibility
The person must be able to get in and out of the vehicle on their own. This service is not suitable for people who travel in a wheelchair or use an oxygen device
