What the service does

Taxi Subsidy Program helps Tasmanian residents who have difficulty using public transport due to disability or mobility needs. To use this service, people must be members of the Transport Access Scheme and meet a low-income test or use a wheelchair. People can get 50% off the taxi fare, up to $25 per trip for a standard taxi. Wheelchair users can get 60% off, up to $30 per trip, when using a wheelchair accessible taxi.
