What the service does

Rural Financial Counselling Service Northern Region provides free support to farmers, fishers, foresters and other rural businesses who are facing financial challenges. Financial counsellors can help people understand their financial situation, explore their options, develop business plans, manage debt, work with banks and creditors, access government support and plan for the future. The service can also help with estimating money coming into and going out of a business, identifying business risks and refer to other support services. Support available across north-east New South Wales.
