What the service does

The Ostomy Service provides stoma‑related aids and appliances for people living with a stoma in the Northern Territory. There may be a fee, depending on eligibility. People who meet Stoma Appliance Scheme requirements may receive supplies free of charge. Supplies can be ordered each month by phone, email or in person at the Cancer Council NT office in Darwin. Supplies can also be posted to people living in remote areas. An Ostomy Officer is available to provide support and help improve wellbeing and quality of life.
