What the service does
NEX Rural Financial Counselling Service provides free support to farmers, fishers, foresters and small rural businesses in south-east Victoria who are facing financial challenges. Financial counsellors can help people understand their financial situation, explore their options, work with banks and creditors, access funding and financial assistance programs and plan for the future. Support is available across Gippsland and other parts of south-east Victoria, with appointments available by phone or in person.
