What the service does

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides funding for people with a permanent and serious disability. The funding helps people access supports to build skills, increase independence, and take part in everyday life. Participants receive an individual plan that describes the supports they need and a budget to pay for them. The plan can be used to choose services and supports that meet their needs and goals. The NDIS can also help connect people with local services. This scheme is available across Australia. People must meet certain criteria to be able to use it.
