What the service does

My Aged Care is an Australian Government program that supports older people. People need to apply for an assessment to use the service. Different programs are available, including ones for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. These programs can provide support at home or in residential aged care. People can access the service if they are Australian residents with a Medicare card. People must be aged 65 or over, or 50 or over for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
