What the service does

Cancer Council Tasmania gives free support to Tasmanians affected by cancer. Help includes emotional support and counselling. Services also include money advice, help with getting to treatment and wigs. People can also get support from others who share similar experiences through support groups and activity groups. Cancer Council Tasmania also provides cancer information and resources. There are drop-in centres in Hobart, Launceston and Devonport. The team also visits most hospitals across Tasmania.
