Cancer Council WA

Wellbeing programs

What the service does

The Life Now Program offers gentle exercise and calming activities for people with cancer and for people who care for someone with cancer. The program can help reduce stress and support wellbeing. Activities include beginner‑friendly exercise, meditation, mindfulness, mindful art, tai chi and yoga. Courses are available across Western Australia and online. Some health conditions may affect whether the exercise program is suitable. It is not suitable for people with certain health conditions such as certain muscle, heart or nerve conditions, a current serious illness, multiple myeloma, very low red blood cells (severe anaemia) or low white blood cells (neutropenia).
