What the service does

Hobart Community Legal Service helps people who have a problem with Centrelink. The service gives free legal help about social security payments and rights relating to government payments and support. This includes information, advice, referrals and representation, which means speaking on a person’s behalf if needed. The service can also help people understand Centrelink decisions, debts, appeals and Disability Support Pension issues. The service is for people in southern Tasmania. It may only be available for people who meet specific criteria.
