What the service does
The Healthy Living after Cancer Program supports people who are recovering after cancer treatment. The program helps people make healthy changes through in‑person workshops over 12 weeks. People are supported to set simple and realistic goals for physical activity, healthy eating and emotional health. The program also supports recovery, including ongoing side effects, returning to work or free‑time activities and building healthy habits after cancer. Weekly phone coaching helps people stay on track. Participants can also connect with others who have had similar cancer experiences to share ideas and support. This service is for people in South Australia.
