What the service does

Cancer Council Tasmania offers financial and legal support to people affected by cancer and their families. Support is available across Tasmania. Help includes limited financial support for people affected by cancer who are experiencing financial difficulty. Centrelink officers are available at each centre by appointment. Some people may be eligible for referral to Cancer Council free financial, legal or workplace advice programs. To access these financial and legal support services, a referral is needed from a health worker involved in the person’s care.
