What the service does

Communities at Work provides practical support for people in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) who are experiencing money problems or need help with everyday essentials. People can access food and hygiene items through community pantries, get help with clothing, and receive crisis support. This means the service can provide payment for prescription medicines, energy bills or offer people bus tickets, phone charging and showers. There are two community centres in Tuggeranong and Gungahlin.
