What the service does

Central Australian Women’s Legal Service helps women get free legal help. The service can help with legal problems such as family law, family violence, child protection, discrimination, housing and tenancy issues, credit and debt and migration matters. The service can also provide legal information, advice and, in some cases, legal representation. People can also be referred to other useful services. Support is available for women in Central Australia and the Barkly region. Support may only be available for people who meet specific criteria.
