Complementary therapies and wellbeing programs can help people cope with cancer symptoms and side effects from treatment. The service is available to anyone affected by cancer in Tasmania, including carers and family members. Complementary therapies at Cancer Council Tasmania are evidence‑based. It means they are supported by research. Programs may include yoga, tai chi and mindfulness. Qualified instructors run all programs and have experience working with people with cancer.
