What the service does

The Cancer Counselling Service offers short‑term emotional and psychological support for people affected by cancer in South Australia. This service helps people manage the challenges that cancer can bring. People can talk about their diagnosis or treatment, surgery or physical changes, worries or strong feelings such as fear, anxiety or grief, and concerns about relationships, family, work or daily life. Support is also available for people living beyond cancer, fear of cancer returning and caring for someone with cancer.
