What the service does

The Breast Prosthesis Program supports women who have lost part or all of a breast because of cancer. Cancer Council SA provides a free temporary breast form after breast surgery, including full or partial breast removal. These soft cotton breast forms are made by trained volunteers and are designed to fit inside a bra without putting pressure on the surgery site. After treatment recovery, women can be fitted with a permanent breast form. This service is available to women in South Australia.
