What the service does
BreastScreen Queensland offers free breast screening mammograms for women in Queensland. Women aged 50–74 are invited to have a free breast screen every 2 years. Women aged 40–49 and women over 74 can also attend. Women can visit a clinic or a mobile screening van that travels around the state. The website has information about breast screening and a tool to find the nearest centre. Appointments must be booked.
