What the organisation does

Lifeline provides free, confidential mental health support and crisis help. It supports people who are feeling overwhelmed, in emotional distress, or thinking about suicide. Support is available 24 hours a day by phone, text message, and online chat. A trained Lifeline Crisis Supporter will listen with care, talk through what is happening, and help find ways to cope. The service is available to anyone in Australia, no matter where they live.
